Rojas has been taking the cigar industry by storm with incredible blends and delicious flavor profiles. The cigar in this review, it makes a Statement.
The Rojas Statement has a very simple, elegant presentation. The dark San Andreas wrapper offers an insight into the unique flavor profile within. The band presents itself with the Rojas "R" and a simple black band with the cigar title. A beautifully simple presentation, for a great cigar.
The Statement is constructed with Nicaraguan filler and binder, all wrapped up in a San Andreas wrapper. The burn does stay relatively even. The ash gets to about an inch before it starts to flake and fall off, which can catch you off guard if you're not ready for it. The draw can be tight at parts, but not enough to ruin the smoke.
The flavor profile on the Statement is wonderful. A medium-bodied smoke, the Statement packs great notes of espresso, dried fruit, and pepper are prominent throughout the smoke. Subtle hints of chocolate and leather are scattered throughout the smoke. These notes compliment each other wonderfully, and allow for a delicious experience.
Now, onto the price point. The Rojas Statement Toro, depending on where you get it, goes for about $9.98 per stick. A box will go for around $199.60. All in all, a great price for a great cigar.
