Espinosa Cigars paired with famous chef, Guy Fieri to create a line of cigars that embodies Fieri's vibrant personality and favorited flavor profiles. The cigar line also exemplifies Espinosa's blending capabilities, and pays perfect tribute to Fieri's style. This is the review of the Espinosa Knuckle Sandwich Habano.

The Knuckle Sandwich Habano has a very Guy Fieri appearance. The band has a black, red, and gold color scheme. The band features a skull with a chef's cap, and star in the background. There is also a fabric footband featured on the cigar. The cigar itself is a medium brown. The wrapper is smooth, but does have a few veins that show on the cigar.

The Knuckle Sandwich Habano is constructed with a Nicaraguan Filler, Nicaraguan Binder, and Equadorian Habano Wrapper. Once lit, the cigar features a smooth draw, allowing the smoke to hit the palate perfectly. The ash is a very light gray, and gets to about an inch and a half long before falling. The foot does not flake after being ashed, so your black shirt should be fine. The burn on the cigar is impeccable. It's even, and allows all the tobacco to burn at the same rate, giving the best flavor and smoking experience possible.

The Knuckle Buster Habano has a unique, but simple flavor profile. The cold draw features notes of dried fruit and cinnamon. At first light, you may get notes of toast, meatiness, and mild black pepper.

The first third may feature notes of earth, black pepper, and dark roast coffee. These are accompanied with mild notes of molasses and smoked pecans. The retrohale on the first third may feature strong notes of black pepper, mild dried fruit, and nutmeg.

The second third may feature notes of dark roast coffee, smoked pecans, and toast. Mild creaminess comes into play, along with subtle notes of black pepper. The retrohale on the second third may feature notes of dark chocolate and black pepper.

The final third may feature strong notes of dark roast coffee, cream, and earth. Subtle notes of smoked pecans, black pepper, and toast linger on the palate. The retrohale on the final third may feature notes of black pepper, dark chocolate, and nuts.

The cigar finishes strong with notes of earth, smoked pecans, and dark chocolate, with lingering notes of toast and cream.

The Knuckle Buster Habano is competitively priced. A single stick can go for around $13.50, while a box of 20 can go for around $270. While the cigar could be priced closer to $12 per stick, the price is reasonable, and well worth the flavor profile.

GC Rating: 92
